Maybe it's my nostalgia talking, but I feel like they used to be better than they are. The cabbage on top of the hotdogs are way saltier than I remember. I've been a few times in recent memory and they always undercook the fries. Ask for them more well done.

ordered 6 hot dogs with a fry, the buns seemed to be right out of the bag and the hot dogs were only warmed up. giving two stars only for the fries.

I used to go there all the time when I was younger, the owner is always and always has been friendly. They used to have a great gravy which now is just okay. The place is small and have an old school decor. The parking in that area is sometime a hassle you have to pay for the parking and most of the time there’s no parking . I would recommend if you take the subway or waiting for a bus , during winter a hot poutine always keep you warm.

My pops introduced me to this place. He came here back in the 70's when he studied here in Montreal. I first came here when he took me here on a family trip in 2007. I have come here evey time I visited Montreal since, and I've made a point of coming here every couple of months since I moved out here. To me, it's totally worth it to make the long treck out here to the end of the Orange Line just to grab a bite at this classic family run joint. This is what a dog is supposed to be and Décarie always hits the right spot.

This place was the "SPOT" for all kid's who loved hotdogs, frenchfries and poutins; especially the prices!!! Seriously I remember hotdogs used to be .50$ and fries were $1 poutines a killer $2.25 cokes came in that classic COKE bottles $1.25....I haven't gone there in a longtime but I heard hotdogs are $2.25 LOL! I'm like WOW! I can buy a whole pack of 12 for that price!😂 Good times.

Banquise? Yuck. Compared to Decarie Hot Dog's poutine, everything else tastes like rocks dipped in yellow snow. Unmarked jars of spice sit behind the pot of sauce used to melt the perfect cheese over the perfect fries. The steamies will melt in your mouth, and the chefs are very friendly.

The hamburger steak is just fantastic comfort food, get the onions and gravy...some fries on the side. Anyone can give you a decent hotdog but the fries here are really something special. One of the best spots in town.

I went there after years .The staff are really friendly and welcoming.The food is really great.The hot dogs were pretty but the poutine was amazing.It wasnt to greasy and salty it was perfect.The portion of the poutine is not that bad also.I also loved that they cherry coke.All fresh and fast service.I will be going back for sure.The price is ok on some items and great on others.

The food is great. But the service... Meh. It's fast, but some of the people who work there need some people skills. The guy who works evenings is nice, friendly, and fun. One of the morning guys is so categorically rude that I stopped going because his face ruined my appetite.

Hasn't change since I was in highschool. Hamburger, fries are the same and that's a good thing. I love the food here and the people are really nice.

If you want a quick bite, then this is the place for you. Fast, cheap, finger-licking delicious! It is a small place, but the family running it is very welcoming. You come in, order food, sit at the bar (or take it to go), and enjoy! On average, it takes 10 min from the moment you walk in to finish eating. I'm a huge fan of their greasy fries and all dressed hot dogs (I take 2!).

I used Uber Eats to order from them twice, but I’ve eaten take out from there many times. It’s an old school hot-dog joint. I tried their steamies, poutine, hamburgers and Club Sandwich. All are good (but you have to expect it to look and taste like an old school joint). I recommend this place if you’re looking for a no thrills steamie and fries takeout place. Lots of history there. I still go back...

Classic landmark family run, they cut their own potatoes and start their poutine sauce with a chicken, not a can.

They do low quality fast food for a low price and I have to say they are good at what they do. It is definitely not very good, but it is eatable and that's pretty much what you'd expect from a place like this with such low prices.

used to eat here when in College. Not that cheap anymore but it hits all the cravings. 2 all dressed dogs, fries and coke is the go to here.

Been a customer over 30 years now I order with uber I order at least twice a month mostly I order club sandwish and love the coleslow so I put a note in the ask for extra section for 2 coleslow but the always ignore my request I think for $20 an order I deserve a coleslow that cost them almost nothing but they are too cheap very disappointed

Cheap prices for decadent (perfect after a night out!) food in the cote vertu area. Their poutine gravy is PHENOMENAL. I’ve never tasted anything quite like it and it was fantastic. I highly recommend their hotdogs « all dressed » and again, order that poutine! There are very few seats and it’s cash only, so best to stop by your bank and do a pick up and bring it home order. Fun servers and cooks!

The poutine sauce has gone from bad to worse it has a spicy and soury aftertaste last time.e I took hit dog's they were half cooked! I'm surprised my daughter even ate her burger

An ok place for counter fast food, they have quite an array of possible selections, including breakfast.

The service was super quick. My order was ready within less than a minute. The fries tasted kinda oily, but the poutine sauce was pretty good. The price of the food is pretty decent and cheaper than similar places. This is a place to pick up your food and leave and as the "dining" area is way too small (it is what makes this restaurant popular though). It is right by the metro and there is parking around.

Been coming to Decarie Hot Dog for 43 years. They never disappoint, no matter how good their reputation gets. Today, 5 members of their family was there, 3 generations. Whenever Marie is there, I order a western sandwich, add fries and a spruce beer and you're in Heaven!
